Data Import

Cimworks has spent the last 10 years consulting on database applications; during this time we have gained vast experience in cleaning and reformatting data.

We are proud to offer this as a service to the wider business environment.

Some examples of what we can do: -

• Slicing data from string fields
• Combining data from two or more fields
• Removing illegal or repeated characters
• Extracting new relationships in existing tables
• Inserting relationships back into tables

As part of the process we perform an in depth audit check of the information that we have transferred to ensure that not only is the data valid but that it is in the correct fields as specified by the customer.

Data Cleanup and Formatting

Alongside of importing data we also have the capacity to perform cleanup tasks and formatting processes. To ensure that we follow the right guidelines for each we work alongside of the customer in forming a specifiaction document to highilght what is required.

• Date format conversion
• Unique indentifier creation
• Automated empty field population
• Lapsed time correction

We can access a variety of database types and are constantly updating our library to allow us to access new formats or older formats not so widely used.
